Indian Gabbeh Rugs

Indian rugs are produced in large numbers and often imitate Persian and Chinese patterns. One of these imitated designs is Gabbeh. Indo Gabbeh rugs are hand-knotted rugs from India that attempt to replicate the Persian original and often do so in good quality. These relatively coarse rugs are thickly knotted and therefore very robust representatives of the rug genre.
